Skills for Success: ADHD Strategies for Adults
Skills for Success: ADHD Strategies for Adults
Skills for Success: ADHD Strategies for Adults is an 8-week series, offered by trained physician facilitators to teach practical, evidence-based strategies designed to improve self-management and self-care for those experiencing symptoms of ADHD. Participants develop strategies to help set realistic goals, prioritize, manage time, and reduce distractions, as well as mindful skills to cope with feeling overwhelmed.
This group program is for adults (17.5+ years old) with a past or current diagnosis of ADHD (or if they or their health care professional suspects they have ADHD) who are not currently attending high school.
Groups are offered as 2 hour Group Medical Visits with 10-60 minutes of home practice each week. Groups are offered as a virtual format (zoom) during the day, evening, and weekends. In-person may be considered in the future.
This group might be right for you if you are experiencing:
- Attention challenges
- Executive function challenges
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Impulse control challenges (i.e. problems with spending, overeating, relationship challenges)
At this time, patients can only participate in the Skills for Success group once.
